The vine for hire

Built atop a large hill overlooking the entire port is a large cathedral. This cathedral is the headquarters of the Pirate King or Queen and the governmental house that overlooks the Outlands.

*A few moments later Miles took control of the bug and it didn't waste time finding the first crack in the wall to squirm into. Once in the wall itself it began devouring any cobwebs, dust, or even smaller insects that may already be there. However as an emergency backup plan Miles made the bug deposit what looked like an egg batch the size of 3 pennies that was coated in black diamond so no other insect devoured it. While devouring what was in the walls it would take the chance to peak through whatever crack it ha scurried by to get a lay of the building. Within two minutes of this the bug had already laid 3 batches of eggs that would hatch within minutes and Miles would possesses those as well to spread throughout the building. Miles however kept his willpower use to as minimal as possible so it would seem like a regular bug infestation if anyone looked into it.*

Just as the bugs and whatnot were infesting the Cathedral, Ariel was leaving, there was a grand disturbance she needed to see to in and local bar of HER town. After she left, Miles would notice the entire Cathedral was lifeless, not anything but some spiders and rats.

*As Miles saw the life fade away when she left he went the direction she came from to hopefully locate her room while on the way they kept devouring any cobwebs, dust and other insects and ended up laying two more egg bundles which hatched right away. Miles even ended up devouring rats as the bugs if they neared him at all. As for the rest of the bugs they swarmed elsewhere to get the rest of the layout while till devouring what they could.*

Soon Miles would find a room full of treasure, a room full of animals, a room full of bones, eventually his little bugs would lead downstairs to the dungeon, and a floor below that too into the crypt. Inside the crypt miles would fine a library-like room filled with hundred of statues, statues that were oddly alive, but soulless. This was Ariel's prize room, a hunter hunts animals and keeps their head, Ariel kills drains her victims souls and keep the body living but soulless for her collection. The treasure room however was wonderus too, it held what had to be a 300 million credits worth of treasure, there were items rare, not rare, but what was the most rare had to be 2 artifacts held behind a vault, a vault that the bugs couldn't even slither into, these were the Water Master Jewel and the Sky Master Jewel, two of the jewels that the Land Master Jewel was part of. In Ariels room, Miles would find maps, books, tomes, spell books, old globes, some bones, a few pieces of silverware, a bed, a non working older style Laurentia Television. At the furthest part of the Cathedral one would find the place where Ariel normally kept her ship, the Daughtless Vanguard, there were som odd Dominion-like technologies here too which meant her ship, while a pirate one was obviously not a normal pirate ship, in fact there was a display on one of the Dominion-like technologies showing that it was a space faring vessel capable of in atmospheric flight.

*Miles saw the treasure and with a smirk but left it untouched. When he sensed the two gems he noted that as well as the powerful artifacts so he made several bug deposits in the walls and had them localize around there. On the way to Ariels room he also noted the living soulless bodies. When at her room he wasted no time and localized them around there and noticed the ship. noticing the ship he localized the bugs around the room of the ship as well all remaining within the walls. In no time the bugs began multiplying 10x faster than rabbits devouring anything in the walls they could while leaving its structural integrity.*

*With Miles back at the helm of control he continued their multiplication keeping most around the treasure room, ship room, and Ariel's room with small scouting parties to make sure he got the whole layout of the mansion patrolled and mapped out in his mind. This would continue constantly til there was a huge infestation of them all surrounding the three rooms keeping within the walls. During this entire time too they truly kept within the walls using cracks in the wall to map out the building so no one would spot the insets.*

A few hours would pass, it was nightfall now, and someone was returning, it wasn't someone who belonged here, or someone who was even from the Outlands. It was a spy, one with an odd looking gun that could replicate people powers, this guy was both living and dead and radiated an aura that shielded his mind and soul from attack. He was here to spy, get intel, intel for someone who wanted to find a certain someone who had spilled his name earlier. He was searching for any trace, any pieces of evidence, and clues, ANYTHING that this guy had left behind.

It wasn't long before the only "living" thing in the house came to action. As it did the sound of a bell would toll, followed by the sounds of dragging chains and bubbles popping. As the being got closer to the spy, a blue glow would fill the hallway and doorway, until finally the thing came into view.

the Chain Keeper was here.

*Miles kept the insect swarms within the walls watching it as it passed. He also sent a swarm of the to follow it's location just incase while the others remained surrounding the 3 rooms within the walls mentioned before. At this time Miles had Heavens shape something in the ranking Colosseum.*

The spying pirate wasn't phased by this new guy. Immediately, he pulled up the gun he had and began firing it, at the same time his aura began to expand, when it did, the things it touched began to dissolve.

The rounds fired from the gun would simply bounce off the Chain Keeper, and aura that swept across it was a mere tickle to it. The house, the Cathedral, the place Ariel stayed would suddenly start pulsating, pulsating like a heart beat until, thousand of soul chains erupted from every wall, every crack, every floor, ceiling and piece of furniture. Each chain, aiming to skewer this spy and end his life with ease, the rank difference between these too was clear as day and night.

*Miles watched wanting to help the spy but knew he if he revealed himself now his shot at Ariel was ruined. Miles would force himself to play the role of the "fly on the wall" so to say. Back at the ranking area he would have Heavens shape the intel in form of paper. Right now all Miles could do is grudgingly sit through this battle watching while he waits for Ariel to come back while his bugs multiplied in their respective areas.*

Almost instantly, the spying pirate was torn to sunder, his dying words echoing through the empty Cathedral halls.

"Goldbeard Rises!" He screamed dying miserably and quickly.

As soon as the pirate was annihilated the Chain Keeper stopped moving, turning completely still and lifeless.

"No one escapes the Morgenroete" the Chain Keeper would say his voice hollow and deep.

After that, his being would return to motionless, just like the house, all the chains and stuff gone.
